This page holds current and past newsletters.  Our newsletters come out every other month by email in PDF format.  Even though all of our handouts are printed on recycled paper, we cut back on paper use by using an electronic newsletter year-round.  Once per year during the holiday season, a major newsletter mailing is madeto reach people without e-mail.

    The two-page Living Green e-newsletter regularly reviews new books, lists community events, provides recipes, and covers both local and regional environmental news.  We also showcase environmentally minded people in our community who are making a difference.  To date, we have more than1,200 people on our e-list.  Hard copies are available for people who visit our classroom at SNAP or see us at various community events we attend.

    We also have a book lending library here at the Housing Improvement Program at SNAP in the Spokane Armory building  at 212  West Second Avenue.  These book cover a number of sustainabiltiy issues that include green building, transportation, the waste cycle, alternate energy and much more.  Come and check it out!
